The position is part of a qualification program (duration approx. 2 years) preparing the candidate for a responsible position as a district manager. The role involves learning about infrastructure maintenance and contributing significantly to the smooth operation of rail traffic. The candidate will acquire DB-specific knowledge and carry out varied tasks independently, growing into responsible tasks. The dynamic environment allows for quick integration and laying the foundation for a successful career at Deutsche Bahn.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Planning and execution of inspections for the maintenance of infrastructure facilities in the regional district
Ensuring safe, punctual, and economical rail traffic
Conducting facility inspections, evaluating and documenting results, and deriving follow-up measures
Commissioning necessary repair measures and monitoring and evaluating the performance of third-party providers
Preparing to take over technical responsibility for assigned infrastructure facilities
Creating evaluations in SAP and ensuring data is maintained in the system
Participating in analyses of disruptions and operational impacts
Working both in the office and on-site at assigned technical facilities in the district

Anforderungen:

Studying Electrical and Information Technology or a comparable course of study
First practical experience in project management through training, internships, student work, or similar desirable
Proficiency in common MS Office applications
Class B driver's license
Fluent German language skills (C1 level)
Willingness to develop long-term and take on (leadership) responsibility
Reliability, solution and design orientation
Communication skills, organizational talent, and confident demeanor
Ability to maintain an overview in stressful situations
Willingness to work on-site and not just in the office
Passing a fitness test during the course of employment
