Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of accounting. As an Accounting Assistant, you will provide essential support to our finance team and assist with various accounting tasks. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience seeking to develop their skills and knowledge in accounting.

Job Responsibility:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment posting, and reconciliations
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in accounting software or spreadsheets
Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and analysis as directed by senior staff
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Collaborate with team members to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures
Assist with other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
