Job Description:

Join our Omnicare closed-door pharmacy team as an Advanced Pharmacy Technician. Work in various pharmacy workstations to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance are met for our patients. Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, rotating through workstations, receiving product deliveries, and performing physical inventories of medication.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance are met for patients
  • Work in various pharmacy workstations
  • Partner with function supervisor to coordinate workflow
  • Rotate and work in various assigned pharmacy workstations
  • Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers
  • Perform physical inventories of medication

Requirements:

  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • PTCB National Certification
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
