Job Description:

Join the IT Engineering team as an AI Solutions Engineer to enhance productivity across Checkr using cutting-edge AI technologies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, design and deploy AI-driven solutions, contribute to AI strategies, and stay current with AI trends.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments
  • Design, develop, and deploy bespoke AI solutions tailored to meet specific needs of internal teams
  • Work closely with Engineers, Product Designers, and other AI Solutions Engineers
  • Collect feedback from internal users to iterate on AI solutions
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to empower internal teams
  • Contribute to the shaping of AI strategies and roadmaps
  • Continuously research and stay informed about advancements in AI
  • Present findings, progress updates, and future proposals to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering roles focused on deploying solutions that enhance productivity
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing AI-centric products
  • Robust programming skills in Python and experience with AI frameworks and technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and containerizing solutions with tools like Docker and Kubernetes within cloud environments like AWS and Azure
  • Proven hands-on expertise and familiarity working with LLMs, RAGs, and open-source frameworks such as Lang Chain and Langflow preferred
  • Exceptional ability to tackle open-ended problems in unstructured environments
  • Proven track record of working effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible and introspective, a willingness to learn, teach, lead, and follow as situations require
  • Deep interest in leveraging AI to transform internal processes and enhance employee productivity.

  • Develop and implement state of the art AI systems such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning pipelines, prompt engineering recipes and agentic workflows
  • Create augmented real-world datasets and comprehensive evaluation workflows to ensure model reliability, transparency, and stakeholder trust. A data- and evaluation-first mindset is essential for success in this role
  • Forge and manage relationships with our customers’ leadership and stakeholders to ensure successful development and deployment of AI projects with Snorkel Flow
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales Solutions and Product teams to map customer needs to existing capabilities, prioritize roadmap gaps, and guide successful project setup
