Job Description:

This position will be working closely with the CFO and plant operations and will be responsible for providing leadership to ensure all accounting department tasks are performed timely and accurately, drive process improvements, implement standards, improve and document internal controls and optimize efficiencies across all areas of accounting, preparing financial statements, inventory control and various ad-hoc projects.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the day to day accounting operations and a team of 5 professionals
Cash Forecasting and Analysis
Assist with annual audit process and interact with external CPA firm
Oversee and streamline the process of preparing financial statements
Ensure accurate inventory control and conduct regular audits
Implement and document internal control standards to optimize efficiencies
Lead the monthly account reconciliation process
Analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness
Perform month-end close activities and journal entries
Train and mentor others in the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning
Handle large volumes of inventory and gain hands-on experience with a major ERP system
Contribute to process improvements in all areas of accounting
Lead annual physical inventory and inventory analysis activities

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
Proven skills in Annual Physical Inventory
Experience in conducting Inventory Analysis
Demonstrable expertise in Inventory Audits
Proficiency in implementing Inventory Controls
Understanding and experience in Internal Control
Ability to handle Month End Close tasks
Experience in Month-end Close Activities
Proficiency in preparing Month-end Journal Entries
Experience in Monthly Account Reconciliation
Ability to handle Monthly Accruals
Skills to Analyze Financial Statements
Experience in Consolidated Financial Statements
Ability to Prepare Financial Statements
Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation
Must have a University Degree
Manufacturing experience is required
Cash forecasting and analysis experience
CPA is highly preferred but not required
