The Infrastructure Senior Technology Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for managing the Tier 0 infrastructure including but not limited to AD, Exchange and SCCM applications. The role requires a range of technical skills and project management expertise alongside analytical ability within a fast-paced financial services environment.
Job Responsibility:
Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolutions to restore services
Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and create automation of repetitive tasks
Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary
Provide technical/strategic direction and act as advisor/coach to lower-level analysts
Develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, bench marking activities and best practices
Responsible for overall operating system applications
Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions
Monitor and Maintain Infrastructure and application for the businesses supported
Analyze, evaluate and prepare recommendations for system improvements, optimization and development
Act in a lead role when triaging and resolving Major incidents
Perform postmortem reviews and root cause analysis of production outages
Explore and discover opportunities to automate key tasks and improve productivity and efficiency
Manage the Vulnerability threat management of environment by ensuring all the Software and Patches are deployed on time
Maintain the infrastructure GRC KRI in Green by taking actions before it became overdue
Provide on-call support on nights and weekends
Manage Service Now queues, incidents and task assignments, approvals
Coordinate VTM rollouts across multiple Wintel server environments
Review/approve & execute production changes for the Wintel Infrastructure server environments
Capacity Performance and Planning for the Wintel Infrastructure server environment
Ensure security & compliance requirements are met in pre-production before released into production
Oversee and supervise Risk & Controls tasks
Provide remote hand & eye support of in-country environments for regional teams
Requirements:
10 - 12 years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
5+ years’ experience in Information Technology in a large distributed data center environment
5 years professional experience with MS Windows Servers and Active Directory in global organization hosting domains in multiple AD Forests
Skilled in scripting (Powershell) and ability to use that skill in daily work including automation across multiple security layers
Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM Management framework and the implementation in a global organization
Experience with specialized backup solutions (Quest) would be an advantage
Extensive & deep dive OS troubleshooting experience down to crash-dump & memory analysis
TCP/IP Global Network LAN WAN & firewall services support experience
Experience with job scheduling software would be an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English
ITIL Foundation or higher or Prince2 certificate would be advantage
Experience with monitoring solutions (Microsoft SCOM) would be advantage
Understanding Switzerland law regulations in regards to access to PII data and possible limitations in regards to support model
Nice to have:
Experience with specialized backup solutions (Quest)
Experience with job scheduling software
ITIL Foundation or higher or Prince2 certificate
