Job Description:

This professional will be expected to establish a deep understanding of risk and control initiatives centred around the Booking Model and Legal Entity Trading Mandate controls. This role requires management of multiple initiatives, while ensuring awareness of remediation plans, and to drive teams to deliver best in class results. This will include implementation and operating of the legal entity control framework to enhance controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and with firm Policy and Standards through the development, enhancement and implementation of efficient control and supervisory tools. This will involve close partnership with Business execution stakeholders, Market Risk, Finance and internal/ external audit teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Enhance the legal entity control environment through key initiatives
  • Ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework
  • Lead legal entity related projects
  • Coordinate with business and product teams and relevant control functions
  • Review and approve legal entity processes
  • Act as a legal entity Subject Matter Expert
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate policies, standards, and procedures adoption
  • Lead initiatives and special projects critical to the enhancement of the control framework

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the financial services industry in a control discipline

  • Provide a robust first line of defense against policy breach and minimize operational risks for Citi Global Markets business
