Cost Accountant

• Analyze manufacturing costs and identify variances
• Create detailed reports and presentations on cost performance
• Analyze sales, financial, and operational data
• Create and maintain regular reports on financial performance and business metrics
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
• Monitor inventory levels and costs
• Manage inventory systems and vendor relationships (Netstock)
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
• Provide insights into financial trends and KPIs
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payments
• Provide relief backup to finance and administration staff
• Assist with internal audits and maintain cost records
• Drive process improvements and collaborate across teams

• Experience with Cost Accounting in a manufacturing organisation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across the business
• Proven track record of process improvement and implementation
• Experience in assisting with month end and financial reporting
• Strong system experience, Netstock or Xero knowledge is desirable
• Bachelors Degree
