Job Responsibility:

  • Provide business insights by conducting descriptive analysis, modern data mining techniques and visualization tools to help business stakeholders make better decisions
  • Build machine learning algorithms to support the forecasting, prediction, segmentation, and recommendation for IKEA business
  • Build operation research algorithms to support IKEA logistic operations

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master Degree in economics, statistics, maths, engineering, natural sciences or related majors is preferred
  • Good command of SQL for data processing and analysis
  • Good command of programming languages (e.g. Python, Java), including concepts from functional and object-oriented programming paradigms
  • Good knowledge of data mining techniques, including regression, tree model, neural network, NLP
  • Nice to have knowledge of Operation research theory, including linear programming models, non-linear programming
  • Fluent spoken and written English, CET6 is required

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Operation research theory, including linear programming models, non-linear programming
  • Be familiar with the OR use cases, including resource allocation, transportation problems, assignment model
