Job Description:

We are offering a long-term employment opportunity for a DevOps Engineer, primarily based in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves extensive work with SonarQube, Jenkins, and Git, with strong Python scripting experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate successful SonarQube Enterprise rollout across multiple platform (DevOps) teams
  • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications in line with industry standards
  • Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure their accuracy and completeness
  • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
  • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed
  • Work with AWS technologies to manage and troubleshoot the system
  • Apply configuration management and cluster analysis techniques to ensure optimal system performance
  • Use scripting knowledge, preferably Python, to automate routine tasks
  • Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies for project management
  • Manage system setup and provide Confluence links for self-training

Requirements:

  • Strong Python scripting experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in Amazon EC2
  • Proficiency in Ansible for application deployment
  • Working knowledge of Apache ANT+ for build management
  • Experience in using Apache Tomcat for web application deployment
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira for project management and bug tracking
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Strong skills in automation processes
  • Advanced knowledge in AWS Technologies for cloud services
  • Experience with Cluster Analysis for data processing
  • Proficiency in Configuration Management for system consistency
  • Familiarity with Sonarqube for continuous inspection of code quality
