Job Description:

The District Manager is responsible for maximizing store sales, managing controllable costs, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and providing leadership and direction to store managers. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, three to five years of retail business experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Job Responsibility:

Maximizes store sales through excellent customer service, product availability, merchandising and exceptional store image
Provides information to store management by recapping promotional activity
Manages controllable costs by educating managers on procedures
Collaborates with the marketing team to ensure promotions and new product introductions are fully implemented
Partners with vendors to ensure product availability
Ensures store operations are profitable
Ensures compliance with requirements
Protects employees, customers and company assets
Achieves financial objectives
Provides leadership and direction to store managers
Adheres to the Company Operating Policy of Legal, Ethical, and Moral practices
Enhances professional and technical knowledge
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Three to five years of retail business experience or more preferred
Minimum of two years of management responsibility
Demonstrated leadership ability
Good communication skills
Self-directed
Self-motivated
Customer service oriented
Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
Ability to supervise and train Store Managers
Expertise with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred
Valid driver’s license
