Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join a dynamic team in the Holland, MI area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family law principles and procedures, including divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and analysis
Organize and maintain case files
Schedule and coordinate court appearances, depositions, and mediations
Assist attorneys with client consultations and meetings
Prepare financial affidavits and other financial documents
Assist with the discovery process, including document production and interrogatories
Review and summarize medical records and other relevant documents
Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and witness testimony

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Paralegal
Proficiency in Family Law
Ability to draft and review legal documents
Strong research skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
