This role involves a blend of administrative support, customer service, and data entry tasks in the non-profit industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to provide clear guidance to seniors regarding application steps
  • Conduct data entry tasks, ensuring the accuracy of information entered into the system
  • Assist seniors in signing up for services via digital and paper applications
  • Prepare and send mailers containing application information to seniors as part of initial support
  • Review completed applications for accuracy and ensure correct data entry
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving inquiries
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain accurate customer records
  • Schedule appointments as required
  • Follow up with customers to ensure understanding of application information received via mailers
  • Use email correspondence effectively to provide customer service and resolve issues

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills and patience
  • Previous experience in a call center customer service role is necessary
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer queries and complaints efficiently
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in email correspondence, ensuring prompt and detail-oriented communication with customers
  • Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, managing customer interactions effectively
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, charts, and manage data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating and editing documents
  • Familiarity with order entry systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders
  • Ability to schedule appointments efficiently, managing the team's calendar and ensuring smooth operations
