Job Description:

A leading Fire Safety Consultancy is seeking a knowledgeable and driven Fire Consultant to play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive fire safety services. This is an excellent opportunity to work across diverse sectors, develop fire strategies, and ensure compliance with the latest fire safety regulations, including the new building safety management bill.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing fire strategies from conception to completion, including fire safety inspections
  • Supporting clients in establishing fire safety management systems to British Standards
  • Reviewing and implementing requirements under the new building safety management bill
  • Delivering fire safety services across sectors including housing, construction, retail, and private healthcare
  • Conducting Fire Risk Assessments and preparing Fire Management Plans
  • Staying updated with industry standards and legislative changes
  • Acting as a resource for managers and staff regarding fire safety standards and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Membership in the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE)
  • A relevant degree in fire safety or fire engineering
  • Proven experience in creating fire strategy solutions and designing fire management plans
  • Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance requirements
