Job Description:

A big name in the HNW/PC space is seeking a Trading Underwriter to join their well-established, specialist underwriting team. This role offers development opportunities and exposure to specialist products across the HNW space.

Job Responsibility:

  • Underwriting Art and Private Client products
  • Working towards set targets including profitability, GWP, conversion, productivity, referral rate reduction, and turnaround times
  • Developing sales skills and appreciation of sales and underwriting strategy
  • Negotiating with internal and external parties, including key broker partners
  • Challenging non-standard underwriting decisions and identifying process improvements

  • Lead the development and execution of a proactive referrer engagement strategy, building long-term partnerships with GPs, concierge doctors, corporate medical teams, and other stakeholders

  • Serve as the central point of contact for VIP and high-touch referrer accounts, delivering personalised and responsive service
