Job Description:

We are in search of a diligent Human Resources (HR) Assistant for our client located in Westlake, Louisiana. The HR Assistant will be tasked with handling various aspects of employee relations and benefits, as well as the proficient use of ADP. This job provides a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with employee relations matters, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution
  • Coordinating and administering employee benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Using ADP Workforce Now and other HRMS systems effectively for various HR tasks
  • Conducting background checks for potential employees in line with company policies
  • Performing auditing tasks as required to ensure accuracy of HR records and processes
  • Delivering excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely and detail-oriented manner
  • Utilizing About Time and other asynchronous transfer mode systems as part of daily operations
  • Leveraging Ceridian and other systems for efficient HR management
  • Ensuring the maintenance of accurate customer credit records
  • Processing customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is required
  • Ability to handle ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Knowledge of Ceridian software is desirable
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS (Human Resources Management System)
  • Proficiency in using About Time software for time tracking
  • Capable of performing auditing tasks related to HR activities
  • Experience in conducting background checks for potential employees
  • Familiar with benefit functions and their implementation
  • Excellent customer service skills are mandatory
