Job Responsibility

Trade and Position Review: Facilitate the timely and accurate booking of trades and resulting positions
Cash Management: Monitor cash balances and ensure that all cash transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Reconciliation: Reconcile portfolio data against custodian and asset manager statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
Reporting: Generate reports to provide insight into investment performance, accounting, compliance and risk management
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce risk
Relationship Management: Building strong relationships internally and with asset managers is critical to the success of this role
Documentation and Reporting: Support the documentation of data governance processes and create reports to track progress on data quality initiatives and issue resolution
Data Governance Design and Maintenance: Assist in the design and ongoing maintenance of data governance frameworks
Data Quality Assurance: Participate in monitoring and evaluating data quality
Issue Resolution: Collaborate with business partners to address existing data issues

Overall 3-10 years of experience working in similar role
Work experience in the financial investment/advisory industry with strong knowledge of capital markets, middle/back-office operations systems
Preferably with experience dealing with Alternatives (Private/Draw-down) Funds data, including knowledge of capital account statements, capital calls, and distribution notices
Track record of demonstrating excellent attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and an ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for engaging clients, data providers, and internal stakeholders

Troubleshooting Private Fund statements processing exceptions
Modifying document data that has been incorrectly extracted by machine learning models
Partnering with Machine Learning Operations team to identify and relabel documents for model retraining
Engaging clients, GPs, or Fund Admins to address statement data related inquiries and issues
Onboard new clients to determine and establish the ownership structure of clients’ Private Fund positions
Help maintain Alternatives Data Operations workflow procedures and play-books
Partner with Sales, Account Managers, and Solutions Architects to drive alignment on account related issues
