Job Description:

Contract opportunity available for an experienced IT Engineer Infrastructure to start as soon as possible. The role involves replacing existing OT proxy servers with fit-for-purpose, supported, commercial-grade solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and implement server and firewall infrastructure to replace legacy systems
  • Ensure technical designs align with operational and cybersecurity standards
  • Standardise and maintain consistent configurations across all infrastructure
  • Establish structured processes for configuration and patch management
  • Create and maintain comprehensive operational support documentation and provide training

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading technical initiatives in Operational Technology enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in network management, including routing, switching, firewalls, and security
  • Extensive product management experience with VMWare, Windows, and Linux Servers
  • Solid knowledge of infrastructure architecture, implementation, and optimisation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • In-depth understanding of ITIL, including change and configuration management
