Job Description:

Make a difference in the lives of exceptional learners by stepping into the role of a Learning Support Worker in our supportive and inclusive school. This Ofsted Outstanding adult education centre is looking for new team members to join their expanding workforce due to an increase in learners. The centre is based in the community of Cranleigh, near Guildford and currently supports almost 40 students with Autism and associated conditions. Learners are offered specialist day services, with individualised learning support based on their needs and desires.

Job Responsibility:

Designing and implementing tailored learning programs
Offering unwavering support
Nurturing a sense of independence and inclusion

Requirements:

Experience of working in community based services or with young adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Comfortable working with challenging behaviour
Ability to work as a team and build relationships with learners, parents and staff
A positive and resilient attitude
Minimum Grade C or equivalent, in English Language & Maths is desirable
Care certificate is desirable
Own means of transport desirable
