This role will require you to support attorneys through administrative assistance, communication, and legal document preparation, in a hybrid workplace setting.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Prepare legal documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Engage in detail oriented and timely communication with clients, attorneys, and other professionals
Utilize legal software applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiently
Maintain client relations, effectively managing inquiries and issues
Administer claims, ensuring proper processing and resolution
Manage attorneys' calendars, coordinating schedules and appointments
Execute billing functions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Utilize Case Management Software and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) effectively
Operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills
Gain and apply knowledge of Clio, enhancing efficiency and productivity
Utilize Aderant and Adobe Acrobat in daily operations
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a related role
Proficient in Aderant, a comprehensive legal software solution
Demonstrable skills in Adobe Acrobat for document management
Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
Experience with Case Management Software to manage legal proceedings effectively
Knowledge of CompuLaw for managing deadlines and schedules
Ability to perform Billing Functions accurately and efficiently
Proficient in Calendar Management for scheduling appointments and meetings
Experience in Claim Administration to manage clients' legal claims
Strong Client Relations skills to maintain positive relationships with clients
Excellent Communication skills for clear, concise, and effective communication
