Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Batley from April to July. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a friendly and inclusive school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons
  • Work with small groups and one-to-one to reinforce learning and support pupil progress
  • Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with varying needs, including those requiring additional assistance
  • Help prepare learning resources and activities in line with the curriculum
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher
  • Support the development of pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural skills

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a primary school, ideally in KS2 (Year 3 experience beneficial)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
