The role involves responsibilities such as court filings, trial preparation, case management, and calendaring. The annual salary is $90,000-$120,000 with additional benefits.
Job Responsibility:
Formatting and finalizing pleadings for e-filing (or manual) in Federal and state courts
Creating tables of contents (TOC's) and tables of authorities (TOA's)
Case management
Trial preparation and procedure
Discovery and large document productions
Calendaring
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a legal secretary in litigation
Demonstrable experience in civil litigation
Proficiency in court filings
Comprehensive understanding of court rules
Experience with both Federal and state courts
Familiarity with e-filing systems
Capable of compiling exhibit lists
Detailed knowledge of Federal Rules
Preferred experience in Intellectual Property - Litigation
Proficiency in preparing pleadings and motions
Knowledge of service of process requirements
Nice to have:
