Job Description:

My client is a nationally recognised manufacturer currently working with major names in the food production industry. They are seeking a maintenance engineer experienced in FMCG manufacturing to join their team at a brand-new site equipped with the latest technology. The role involves mechanical and electrical repairs, dismantling and replacing machine parts, and ensuring production line efficiency in a fast-paced, regulated automated environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the team in dismantling and replacing machine parts
  • Upholding health and safety regulations in a fast moving automated environment
  • Conducting all mandatory logs
  • Handling mechanical repairs on the conveyor systems
  • Ensuring the efficiency of the production line

Requirements:

  • Several years experience working within a FMCG environment, preferable food production
  • Have completed an onsite apprenticeship or hold a level 3 NVQ in Engineering or similar
  • Confident working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, motors, rollers, gearboxes, fabrication repairs, fitting new parts etc
  • Competent fault finding and repairing on a range of electrical equipment
  • Be ambitious, enthusiastic and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiastic approachable and a can do attitude to work
