Job Description:

Leadership role of vendor performance managers responsible for day to day vendor issue resolution, technical collaboration between the vendor and technology teams. Develop and maintain ongoing vendor performance programs and documentation. Manage the workflow of the vendor management team to ensure effective support of the technology organization in following key areas: Vendor Performance Management, Relationship Management and Vendor Risk Management. Objective of the vendor performance management team is to provide a framework to manage and deploy vendors and vendor relationships, manage the vendor relationship to deliver best value to T-Mobile, develop and improve metrics to drive improved performance and productivity, and strengthen the overall business relationship.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead vendor performance management team
  • Conduct vendor evaluations / business reviews
  • Drive accountability
  • Represent T-Mobile as a primary contact with the Vendor
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Collaborate with internal business partners
  • Monitor and communicate vendor financial and operational impacts
  • Hire, train, develop and motivate staff
  • Performance management, coaching and development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-7 years Telecommunications/Wireless Industry experience in Engineering, Finance or Carrier Management
  • 4-7 years Vendor Management, IT, Engineering or Carrier Management experience
  • 4-7 years Experience of evaluating Vendor Performance
  • Demonstrated experience producing executive level analysis
