Job Description:

Circle K is seeking a Market Manager in Training for their Great Lakes Division. The role involves maximizing store sales, managing costs, collaborating with marketing, ensuring compliance, and providing leadership to store managers. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, retail experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

Maximize store sales through excellent customer service, product availability, and merchandising
Provide information to store management
Manage controllable costs
Collaborate with Marketing team
Partner with vendors
Ensure store operations are profitable
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Protect employees, customers, and company assets
Achieve financial objectives
Provide leadership and direction to store managers
Enhance professional and technical knowledge
Contribute to team effort

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Three to five years of retail business experience or more preferred
Minimum of two years of management responsibility
Demonstrated leadership ability
Good communication skills
Self-directed
Self-motivated
Customer service oriented
Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
Ability to supervise and train Store Managers
Expertise with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred
Current valid driver's license required

Nice to have:

Experience in retail business
Leadership experience
Proficiency in MS Office tools
