Mechanical and Electrical Package Planner

• Develop and maintain comprehensive plans and schedules for all mechanical and electrical packages within the project, ensuring alignment with overall project milestones and deadlines
• Create and manage critical path analyses, identifying key dependencies and potential delays
• Develop resource loading plans, allocating appropriate personnel and equipment for each package
• Monitor progress against the schedule, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including planning reports, schedule updates, and risk assessments
• Collaborate closely with project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors responsible for the respective MEICA packages
• Ensure clear communication and alignment with other project teams
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including the project manager, client representatives, and other project team members
• Identify and assess potential risks related to mechanical and electrical packages
• Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address identified risks
• Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• Proven experience as a Mechanical and Electrical Planner, ideally within the water treatment or construction industry, with a focus on package planning
• Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
• Proficient in using planning software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Security Clearance

Knowledge of SCADA systems and control systems

• Competitive daily rate of £500 per day
• Minimum of 6 months of work, with the potential for extension based on performance
