Job Description:

MO Static & Reporting Supervisor is an intermediate level position responsible for organising the BAU tasks of the EMEA Middle Office Static & Reporting Team. The team takes care of system parametrisation to ensure smooth processing of orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Processing teams. The overall objective of the successful candidate is to combine the senior expert role with supervisor’s responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise team members in duties and performance, providing feedback
  • Ensuring timely and accurate parametrisation of funds/brokers/custodians in trade processing systems
  • Assist Team Manager in performance evaluation of team members, recognise team strengths and weaknesses
  • Handle escalations as first point of contact
  • Pro-active risk management and responsibility for adequate procedures and effective controls as well as satisfying audit and regulatory requirements
  • Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies, in conjunction with professional judgement to make process improvement recommendations
  • Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed
  • recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
  • Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms
  • Identify policy gaps and formulate new policies to enhance the streamlining of trade flow processes
  • Monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank
  • Provide informal guidance, and/or on the job training to new team members

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial operations
  • Fluency in English in speaking, reading and writing
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • SWIFT knowledge is beneficial
  • SQL code knowledge is beneficial
