Job Description:

Opportunity with CVS Health's MinuteClinic to provide comprehensive, high-quality care and holistic patient care within a supportive and collaborative environment. Includes career growth opportunities, autonomy, evidence-based guidelines, and patient care completed onsite during shifts.

Job Responsibility:

Provide primary and family evidenced-based care including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling and disposition planning
perform administrative duties including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment
handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes
complete diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses
coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care
encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare through services like health screenings, wellness, and chronic condition management.

Requirements:

Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients
education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices
order and administer immunizations and injections including COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo vaccines, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
proficiency in both speaking and writing in additional languages such as Spanish depending on the market
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification including CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.

Nice to have:

Less than 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider with prior student precepting rotation at MinuteClinic
