Job Description:

Immediate opportunity in the healthcare industry for an Onboarding Coordinator in Norfolk, Virginia. As an Onboarding Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing various onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, and maintaining up-to-date personnel records.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring smooth transition for new employees
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accreditation guidelines, and state and federal government requirements during onboarding
  • Conduct compliance screenings such as driving records, background checks, and Office of Inspector General reports for new employees
  • Maintain and manage talent management systems' files
  • conduct audits and purges as per policy and state and federal government requirements
  • Update and maintain personnel systems with personal data
  • ensure the accuracy of all data entered in systems
  • Assist in training new recruiting and talent management staff on onboarding procedures and requirements
  • Identify potential risks, improvements, and efficiencies in the onboarding process and propose suggestions to the manager
  • Provide onboarding support, including providing metrics for functional areas
  • Handle I-9 reporting/tracking using E-Verify
  • Effectively work in a diverse team environment and maintain excellent work relationships with staff, candidates, and subcontractors

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare/NHS industry
  • Proficiency in conducting Auditing and Background Checks
  • Demonstrated experience with Benefit Functions
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Proven ability in Onboarding new employees
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with I-9 Audits and I-9 Compliance
  • Familiarity with E-Verify system
  • Proficiency in using HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems
