Job Description:

Join our Omnicare, closed-door pharmacy as a Lead Pharmacy Technician in our Front End department and help us deliver best customer support to our long-term care, assisted living and chronic care customers.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and support the front-end pharmacy technician team
Assist with data entry, customer service, and processing support tasks
Collaborate with senior technicians to coordinate daily production
Troubleshoot and assist with front-end processes and workflow issues
Partner with pharmacy leaders on team training plans
Assist in orientation, training, and education programs for controlled substances

Requirements:

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Nice to have:

Prior experience in the long-term care industry
PTCB National Certification
Previous experience leading a team
