Job Description:

This role involves overseeing the payroll process for multiple locations in the hospitality industry. The chosen candidate will be entrusted with the management of payroll data for approximately 1000 employees across different departments, collaborating with HR, finance, and department managers to ensure adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the entire payroll process, including time tracking, payroll computations, and tax deductions
  • Ensure that all federal, state, and local regulations are complied with, including tax laws, wage and hour laws, and benefit regulations
  • Formulate and uphold payroll policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and uniformity throughout the organization
  • Collaborate with the People and Culture and Finance teams to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll data
  • Address colleagues' queries regarding payroll, including questions about paychecks, taxes, and benefits
  • Conduct payroll-related audits and ensure all documentation is current and accurate
  • Keep abreast of changes to payroll regulations and modify policies and procedures when necessary
