Job Description:

As a graduate pharmacist intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist within a Retail Pharmacy setting, focusing on patient care programs, pharmacy operations, and professional development.

Job Responsibility:

support Pharmacy manager in motivating and developing Pharmacy Support Staff
identify business opportunities and implement solutions

apply knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors

Requirements:

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
0-3 years prior relevant work experience
valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP
strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
ability to work with precision control and perform activities such as reading, typing, and visual inspection
ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within required timeframe per state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
3-5 years prior relevant work experience
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
