Job Description:

As a graduate pharmacist intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring exceptional care to patients while adhering to standards of Patient Safety, Regulatory Requirements, Quality Assurance, Inventory Management, and Workflow Management.

Requirements:

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
0-3 years prior relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP
strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
finger dexterity: picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
ability to reach overhead
ability to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
stoop to a considerable degree
visual acuity for activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading and visual inspection involving small parts
ability to orally communicate information and instructions
occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines
ability to complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
3-5 years prior relevant work experience
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
