Job Description:

As a graduate pharmacist intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment while delivering exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, customer service, inventory management, workflow management excluding prescription verification, and growing patient care programs.

Requirements:

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
0-3 years prior relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP
Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control
Stoop and bend spine at the waist
Close visual acuity
Oral communication ability
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Pharmacist licensure within required timeframe
Additional tasks as directed by supervisor
Complete required training and obtain licensure within state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
3-5 years prior relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
