Job Description:

As a graduate pharmacist intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team delivering exceptional care, focusing on patient safety, pharmacy practices, regulatory requirements, and customer service. You will lead initiatives, support pharmacy managers, and be immersed in a culture aiming to change healthcare for the better.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues on your team
support your Pharmacy manager in motivating, inspiring, and developing their Pharmacy Support Staff

Requirements:

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
0-3 years prior relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP
strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
precision control and ability to adjust machines to exact positions
ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within required timeframe per state guidelines
ability to complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have:

3-5 years prior relevant work experience
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
