Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you have a significant role working as a part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist—delivering the company’s purpose, modeling its values, and demonstrating genuine care for patients. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment, delivering exceptional care, managing patient care programs, and facilitating a team culture that promotes caring.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan and bag items
ability to demonstrate finger dexterity
ability to reach overhead, stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move or lift items
ability to adjust machines to exact positions
ability to stoop to a considerable degree and use lower extremities and back muscles to move items between low and high positions including bending spine at the waist
ability to perform activities requiring close visual acuity such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
