Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, playing a key role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Your responsibilities include patient safety, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management. You will display empathy, collaborate with others, and lead with heart to bring positive outcomes to patients and customers.

Requirements:

  • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • 0-3 years relevant work experience
  • Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
  • Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
  • Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
  • Stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
  • Visual Acuity for activities such as transcribing or reading small parts
  • Able to orally communicate instructions.

  • Immunization eligibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Provide patient immunizations as essential pharmacist function.
