Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe Retail Pharmacy environment, deliver exceptional care to patients, and perform tasks such as patient safety, inventory management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to use finger dexterity for specific tasks
Ability to reach overhead and stretch
Ability to control machines with precision
Ability to stoop and bend spine at the waist
Close visual acuity for activities like transcribing and viewing screens
Ability to orally communicate information
Ability to lift items up to 20 lbs regularly.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations after meeting state regulations.
