Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you play a significant role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient. Responsibilities include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, and inventory management, among others.

Workflow Management (excluding final prescription verification)
Adoption and management of patient care programs

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Visual Acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs or exert force accordingly

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Providing patient immunizations once state regulations are met
