Job Description:

At CVS Health, Pharmacy Managers lead and develop pharmacy teams focused on delivering exceptional patient care, promoting best practices, and managing pharmacy operations. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines, fostering a culture of safety and inclusion, and contributing to transformative healthcare solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Overseeing the pharmacy team during bench shifts
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contributing to positive patient experiences
Proactively offering and delivering immunizations
Supporting the effective management of pharmacy inventory
Conducting onboarding for new pharmacy team members
Ensuring compliance with regulations
Partnering with the Store Manager to maintain a healthy talent pipeline
Overseeing Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists
Regularly reviewing business reporting and developing action plans
Establishing a culture of safety, empowerment, and inclusion
Maintaining relevant clinical and technical skills
Supporting access to care through clinical care such as testing and prescribing services

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist

Nice to have:

Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program
3-5 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
