Pharmacy Receiver 1st Shift

• Receive according to priority
• Accurately count the number of cartons/pallets of each item received
• Check merchandise against P.O.’s and notify Rx Buyer of overages or damaged merchandise
• Attach discrepancies to P.O. and give to Supervisor
• Tag each item with license plate for put away
• Complete general information on P.O./Driver Document and deliver to Receiving Clerical
• Ensure all paperwork is submitted for updating of On-Line Receiving
• Perform preliminary safety check of assigned equipment
• Operate manual or electric pallet jacks and equipment
• Stack merchandise on pallets uniformly and secure with strapping tape
• Retrieve cases via WMS System
• Note and correct discrepancies while retrieving merchandise
• Adhere to safety procedures
• File control P.O.’s separately until received in full
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
• Cross-train in various functions as required by Management.

• Ability to read, write and count accurately
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to operate and be certified as an operator of power jacks, fork trucks, and any other power equipment as needed
• Normal eyesight (natural or corrected)
• Ability to pass a DEA background check and drug screening
• Physical Demands: Frequent Medium Lifting requirement (34% - 66%) up to 20 lbs and Occasional Medium Heavy (0%-33%)
• Constant bending/reaching/stooping (67%-100%)
• Constant walking/standing/climbing (67%-100%)
• Work Environment: Warehouse environment, including seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.
