Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician role at CVS Health focused on assisting patients, ensuring compliance, and providing compassionate care. Position requires training, State-specific certifications, and physical tasks such as standing and lifting. Encourages career advancement through tools and training.

Job Responsibility:

Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
support team in fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately
provide caring service to exceed customer expectations
complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws
maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
licensure requirements vary by state
ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
understand customers' reactions and respond appropriately
ability to use verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues
active listening and understanding
ability to use math to solve problems like calculating prescription days' supply
ability to judge and resolve problems
physical ability to remain upright for extended periods
occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs
visual acuity for detailed tasks

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
