Job Description:

The Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to work in a leading retail pharmacy company, helping patients access care and manage prescriptions as part of a skilled and supportive team. New technicians are required to undergo comprehensive training and achieve necessary certifications.

Job Responsibility:

Successfully manage pharmacy workstations and tasks
promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality
provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
licensure requirements vary by state
ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
notice and understand customers’ reactions and respond appropriately
ability to use math to solve problems such as calculating day’s supply of a prescription
choose the best course of action when faced with a complex situation
ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods
ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
