Job Description:

The Practice Manager leads and manages operations at a primary care clinic, supervising clinical and non-clinical teams, ensuring operational excellence, driving patient satisfaction, and aligning with Oak Street Health's values and care model by providing patient-centric care for older adults on Medicare.

Job Responsibility:

hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor and manage a multi-disciplinary team of 15+
ensure the center is a great place to work and build a culture of engagement
ensure clinic operations are running smoothly and safely on a daily basis
arrange coverage for any call-offs or PTO
ensure standard operating procedures are followed
provide an unmatched patient experience and service recovery as needed
drive results for patients by ensuring preventive care best practices are followed
lead the implementation of in-clinic operational initiatives
ensure efficient patient scheduling processes
oversee clinical and community areas and handle building-related issues
serve as point of contact for alarm monitoring company
use proprietary software and reporting systems to monitor task workflows
partner with the center medical director and outreach manager for collaborative decision-making
other duties as assigned

Requirements:

2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role
ability to work flexible hours as needed, with occasional evenings
proficient PC skills
US work authorization
bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (strongly preferred)
5 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting (strongly preferred)
where necessary, fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (strongly preferred)
experience successfully driving teams towards achievement of metrics (strongly preferred)
experience with Google Suite (preferred)

Nice to have:

experience with Google Suite
bachelor's or master's degree in a related field
5 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting
fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve
experience successfully driving teams towards achievement of metrics
