Job Description:

The purpose of a Practice Manager at Oak Street Health is to lead and manage operations at a single primary care clinic location. Responsibilities include staff management, clinic operations, leadership, and community engagement to ensure patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and smooth daily operations.

Job Responsibility:

Hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team of 15+
ensure the center is a great place to work
build a culture of engagement
ensure clinic operations run smoothly and safely daily
arrange staff coverage for call-offs or PTO
ensure unmatched patient experience is delivered
support clinical and service teams in achieving patient experience and clinical outcomes metrics
oversee implementation of in-clinic operational initiatives
lead training for new workflows
manage patient scheduling processes
supervise clinical and community areas
handle building-related issues
partner with the medical director and outreach manager to make collaborative decisions
monitor systems and reporting for adherence to tasks and workflows
perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role
ability to work flexible hours as needed, with occasional evenings
proficient PC skills
US work authorization
bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (strongly preferred)
5 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting (strongly preferred)
fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by people in the communities served (strongly preferred)
experience successfully driving teams towards achievement of metrics (strongly preferred)
experience with Google Suite (preferred)
passion for mentorship and team development
ability to drive a collaborative, patient-centric, and results-oriented culture
problem-solving orientation
flexible and positive attitude
proactive and adaptable working style
ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice to have:
