Job Description:

Randstad is looking for a dedicated supply teacher to work on a day to day basis in various primary schools in and around Sudbury. These local schools are dedicated to delivering high-quality education and support across diverse classroom settings, quickly adapting to meet the unique needs of each student while fostering their growth and well-being.

Job Responsibility:

Ensuring you arrive punctually at the school you have been booked into
Adhering to relevant school policies whilst covering that school
Passing on relevant information promptly and effectively within the school
Adhering to the set cover work and encouraging pupils to engage and complete said work
Providing a calm and productive learning environment for the pupils
Dealing with any issues that might arise in a prompt and professional manner

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
Experience with behaviours that are challenging
A calm & caring personality
A strong and resilient personality and be committed to pupils development
Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
