We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Programmer/Analyst: III (Senior) in the tech industry, located in Columbus, Ohio. As a Programmer/Analyst, you will be instrumental in software development, specifically in creating and maintaining application interfaces between various data sources and applications. A significant part of your role will also involve working with DevOps.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop software and create application interfaces using Java or similar object-oriented languages
  • Maintain application interfaces between various data sources and applications
  • Collaborate with the team in planning and executing tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Leverage your analytical skills to articulate patterns and relationships between technologies, processes, and business models
  • Utilize your experience with the Spring Framework, Eclipse, Maven, and Gradle
  • Manage Jenkins build systems and conduct automated testing via frameworks such as Junit
  • Employ Git source control management and web interfaces such as GitHub
  • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) methodologies
  • Handle REST, JSON, or SOAP web interfaces
  • Exhibit flexibility and team spirit in a dynamic work environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, MIS, or a related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Java programming and Spring Framework
  • Prior experience with GitHub and GIT for version control
  • Familiarity with REST API and API development
  • Proven ability in planning and implementing software methodologies and frameworks
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development patterns
  • Experience with DevOps, including automation test and Jenkins
  • Skilled in handling JSON data sources
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to exhibit analytical skills for problem-solving
  • Experience with Eclipse IDE
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) practices
