Job Description:

The Quality Control Auditor randomly conducts audits of all warehouse personnel to ensure a high level of customer service, verifies store order accuracy, and ensures proper packing of picked orders. Additional duties include assisting in inventory, department housekeeping, and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Responsibility:

  • Randomly conduct audits of all warehouse personnel to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Randomly select cases and totes for inspection
  • Verify accuracy of store orders against invoices
  • Ensure proper packing of picked orders
  • Use WMS to print orders
  • Randomly select store numbers to be audited
  • Communicate and verify store numbers for transportation and operational purposes
  • Retrieve and break down store orders to be audited
  • Scan store orders using technology
  • Complete store audit information
  • Complete documents and palletize orders for delivery
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Assist in yearly inventory
  • Assist in all housekeeping of the department
  • All other duties as required
  • Overtime may be required during high volume periods

Requirements:

  • 1 year quality control, audit, or distribution experience
  • Experience with MS Office applications
  • Must be willing to be certified on all equipment needed to complete job tasks
  • Previous Distribution Center experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
