Job Description:

We have several reputable construction companies are currently seeking to hire Quantity Surveyors (all levels) for exciting projects! These roles offer competitive salaries, excellent career growth opportunities, and the chance to work on high-profile developments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cost Planning & Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including initial estimates and final costs
  • Tendering & Procurement: Manage the tender process, including preparation of bills of quantities, reviewing contractor bids, and negotiating contracts
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms
  • Valuation & Payment: Conduct interim valuations and prepare progress payments for contractors and subcontractors
  • Post-Contract Services: Provide post-contract cost control and management, including final accounts preparation, settlement of claims, and cost reconciliation

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Experience in construction, consultancy, or a similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Junior QS: Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Senior QS: Minimum of 5 years of experience
