Job Description:

The Seasonal Tastes Kitchen Head Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards. The role involves operating kitchen appliances, monitoring food quality, and ensuring adherence to safety and security policies. The ideal candidate is passionate, active, optimistic, and adventurous, with at least 1 year of related work experience.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
Prepare and cook food according to recipes
Operate kitchen appliances
Monitor food quality
Set-up and break down work station
Serve food in proper portions
Wash and disinfect kitchen area
Follow company and safety policies
Report maintenance needs
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
